Laos, officially the Lao People's Democratic Republic, is a landlocked country in Southeast Asia, bordered by Burma and the People's Republic
of China to the northwest, Vietnam to the east, Cambodia to the south, and Thailand to the west.
Laos has a rich history stretching back over 10,000 years. At its height, it ruled over present day
Laos and much of neighbouring northern Thailand. Landlocked and laid-back, it’s a very different spin on the Southeast Asia experience.
Here Buddhism permeates every facet of life, change comes
